The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi , Smt. Sheila Dikshit inaugurated the first batch of these courses at Bapu Samaj Sewa Kendra, Panchkuian Road , New Delhi on 19.10.2002 and since then the Board has not looked back. The courses have been started at several other places like -- Nimri Colony (Ashok Vihar) Rohini, Karampura, Badli, Hyderabad House ( Jaswant Lane ) and at Sudinalaya - a home for destitute girls & women managed by CORE in Ashram. The products manufactured/created by the trainees were displayed at the India International Trade Fair - 2002 in Pragati Maidan, between 14.11.2002 & 27.11.2002. The presentation was greatly acclaimed and appreciated. It was a God sent opportunity and a morale-boosting exposure for one and all concerned.
