The Board has, within such a short span of its existence, trained more than 7000 unemployed young as well as old men and women in Self Help Employment Courses, aiming to make them (the beneficiaries) self-reliant and able to earn their livelihood. The courses have become very popular and have been successful in empowering a large number of girls and women to stand up and face the challenges in life. Ex-Chairman of the Board, Shri Sukhbir Sharma visited Mumbai and Nashik himself to identify and then arrange to start the Self Help Employment Courses. His visionary thinking has been solely responsible for the success of the Board and its activities.
