Several other programmes involving the workers and their family members were held from time to time throughout to make them aware of the value and necessity of "Shram Daan" as well as cleanliness. The Hon'ble Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit inaugurated a week-long cleanliness drive at Badli Industrial Area on the eve of "World Environment Day" (04.06.2003). Shri Jackie Shroff, the eminent cine-artist was a special guest. A similar drive was inaugurated again by the Hon'ble Chief Minister in Gole Market on 11.08.2003. These involved workers directly and made them aware of the value of participation, hygiene and cleanliness.
